Following the furniture procurement and installation we carried out at VWFS Delaware Drive, Milton Keynes in 2014 we were retained to then conduct the same procurement and installation work for the furniture required at their new two-storey call centre that would be part of the VW campus in Milton Keynes.

VW were refurbishing an existing building in order to turn it into a two-storey call centre.

The designers at Scott Brownrigg wanted to achieve a mid-century retro look and feel with modern industrial elements. This pushed the furniture brief somewhat as we were tasked with finding raw steel tables for the staff restaurant and concrete bench tables for their collaboration areas!

The finished look was certainly retro, enhanced by VW’s additional pieces including coin change machines designed to look like fuel pumps, a vintage VW Beetle with a coffee point built into the boot and eye-catching lighting features and wall hung artwork.
