In a major project for TTP’s cutting-edge new headquarters, located on the picturesque border between Cambridge and Hertfordshire, Showcase was selected to lead the furniture consultancy and procurement services throughout the 107,000-square-foot space. Designed to foster collaboration and a non-hierarchical work environment, the project required an innovative approach to interior planning.
Scope & Services
Working closely with the appointed design team ID:SR, Bidwells project management, and Gleeds cost consultancy, Showcase took on the challenge of delivering a workspace that met TTP’s vision for an open, flexible, and future-proof environment.
The centrepiece of the new headquarters is a collection of 23 interconnected, open-plan cubes, each offering a mix of workspaces, collaborative zones, breakout areas, refreshment points, client suites, and laboratory spaces. With the open-plan layout, careful attention was paid to balancing visibility and privacy. To manage acoustics, Showcase incorporated strategically placed storage units and planter systems that not only softened sound but also enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the space.
Designed with the future in mind, the workspace can easily accommodate TTP’s growth from 360 to 450 employees, ensuring minimal disruption as the business evolves.
The Showcase team implemented a full-service approach from concept to completion, tailoring furniture selection and procurement by utilising a two-stage procurement process to ensure quality and efficiency. The project was facilitated by faultless delivery and a smooth installation, followed by ongoing post-project support.
