Showcase were appointed to work on this project alongside architect Gensler and Project Managers Cushman Wakefield. The head office based in the Ray Building, Farringdon spanning across 3 floors approx. 45,000 sq ft.

Scope

Showcase was bought on board to carry out a fully reutilisation audit and work with the team to formulate a reuse strategy to support Linkedins’ Future of Workplace transformation.

Services provided

Furniture audit and reuse strategy, furniture specification and selection, procurement process, furniture moves reinstallation and new furniture installation.

Success points

Showcase worked very closely with the design and client team to create an post covid working office that is fully supported through the design of the space and the different types of furniture that helps facilitate this. Showcase coordinated with the designers and US client team to ensure the design language was seamless throughout.

Value added

The robustness of the Showcase procurement process meant that the furniture selection was completed with minimal value engineering. Gensler’s forward thinking design was able to be maintained throughout.

Install had to take place during Covid-19 lockdown, Showcase coordinated all parties to ensure regulations were met and the project was delivered safely and on time.
